Project Profile

MARG-EPC-IP-BECL: Bhavnagar, Gujarat, India; MARG Limited, one of the India’s leading diversified infrastructure organizations, has won an EPC Work order valued at Rs 237.58 Crore from Bhavnagar Energy Company Limited (BECL) in Gujarat. The work order includes a Sea Water Intake, Outfall and Circulating Water System for the 2 X 250 MW Lignite Based Thermal Power Plant at Padva, Bhavnagar, Gujarat. The scope of work includes the challenging work of laying Submarine Pipeline of 5 KM in the roughest sea of Gulf of Cambay, Critical Marine and Civil Structures, Pumping Stations, Pipelines, Substations and Transmission Lines. The time frame for completion of the project is 24 months Bhavnagar Energy Company Limited (BECL) is promoted by state PSUs viz. Gujarat Power Corporation Limited (GPCL), Gujarat State Investments Limited (GSIL), Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Limited (GMDC), Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited (GIPCL), Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Limited (GACL), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers Company Limited (GNFC) and Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals Limited (GSFC).
